Frequently Asked Questions
Everything homeowners want to know before hiring Craft & Crown for a renovation, detached structure, permitting service, or design-forward build in Charlotte.
How We Work
These are the questions most clients ask early, before plans are finalized and before construction begins.
We specialize in custom detached structures, kitchen and bath renovations, premium small-scope jobs, permitting and GC oversight, and rapid-turnaround 3D renderings. Whether it is a full design-build package or a focused upgrade, we bring the same level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project.
Craft & Crown is based in Charlotte and serves homeowners across Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas including South Charlotte, Ballantyne, Dilworth, Myers Park, NoDa, Huntersville, Cornelius, Matthews, Mint Hill, and Indian Trail. If you are nearby and unsure whether you are in range, call 704-654-5883.
Our 3D renderings give you a realistic preview of the finished project before construction begins. That helps you compare layouts, finishes, and design options early so you can make confident decisions and avoid expensive mid-project revisions.
We start with a consultation to understand your goals, space, and priorities. From there, we build a clear estimate, create renderings when needed, handle permitting, and move into construction with regular communication so you always know what is happening next.
Small-scope jobs can be completed in days. Kitchen and bath renovations often run 3 to 8 weeks depending on complexity. Detached structures such as garages or ADUs may take 6 to 12 weeks. Your estimate includes a project-specific schedule based on scope and permitting.
Yes. Our permitting and GC oversight service covers the process from application to final inspection. We keep the project code-compliant and moving forward so you do not have to navigate local requirements on your own.
